This is a natural soap that is created from pods that grow on trees (Sapindus
trifoliatus) in India and Nepal. Soap nuts are placed into a cotton bag and,
once immersed in water, the sticky pods provide suds that are great for washing
laundry. These are completely natural, only about six pods are needed for a load
of laundry, and they can be re-used for four more loads. To discard, simply
place in compost bin. There is no need to use fabric softener. The Soap Nuts
