tissues. It is, therefore, crucial that you nurture your skin with fragrance free,

Lotions
Moisturizers are formulated for use on the face and lotions for the rest of the
body. Your face is exposed to different environmental, physical and emotional stresses
than the rest of your body. If you think about it, your face is not exposed to the
same physical stresses as your hands and feet. It is not immersed in water as much
as your hands, but shows the exertion of negative emotion more readily. It has been
said that one’s age is easily ascertainable by looking at the hands. So, our lotions,
are especially formulated for reducing the visible signs of aging in hand skin,
much like our moisturizers curb signs of aging on the face. Nen’s Naturals lotions
are 100% natural. We purchase organic ingredients where available and never use
essential oils that have been extracted using benzene. There are no petroleum-based
ingredients, solvents, chemical fragrances, urea, formaldehyde or other toxins or
carcinogens in our lotions, nor do they contain artificial preservatives or colourants
or animal parts. Our lotions do not contain the chemical emulsifying waxes rampant
in commercial products. Further, our lotions are not diluted; that’s why they are
packed in jars. Diluting and thinning lotions means adding more water, which destabilizes
the product, requiring the addition of chemical preservatives and other additives.

Beeswax Lotions
Beeswax is created from the nectar of flowers by industrious honeybees.
Beeswax has a sweet, natural fragrance and has special properties that makes it
unlike other waxes. Beeswax is a humectant, which means it attracts moisture to
the skin. It also preserves moisture, all while providing numerous other benefits.
Beeswax is bactericidal (kills bacteria), anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and softens
and improves skin elasticity. These properties do not erode over time, thus making
beeswax a very stable cosmetic ingredient.
Usage Notes: Lotions containing citrus ingredients
should not be applied prior to heading into the sun because they increase the skin’s
propensity to burn.

Rose Moisturizing Lotion

Thanks to Bulgarian Rose absolut, Nen’s favourite essential oil,
Rose Lotion makes you feel like someone handed you a bouquet of roses. Rose essential
oil has amazing skin care properties and we augmented those with apple fruit extract
whose alpha-hydroxy acid refines and rejuvenates skin. Apricot kernel oil is used
because of its high Vitamin A content and fig extract for its skin renewal abilities.
This lotion exudes a very vintage sentimentality of days when women frequently wore
rose perfume for attracting love. Its lovely scent boasts of unrivalled femininity

Peppermint Shea Moisturizing Lotion

Shea comes from the nut of
the African karoite tree and our supply is both unrefined and undeodorized. Shea
Lotion is deeply moisturizing. We added Peppermint Hydrosol and essential oil of
Peppermint for a delicate mint scent. You may want to put this lotion on several
times a day just to relish in its aroma! Shea butter has been reputed to assist
in reducing the appearance of stretch marks. This lotion is so lovely, it’s addicting,
and we don’t know whether to apologize or to pat ourselves on the back!

Green Tea Moisturizing Lotion

Our green tea soap is so
popular, we thought we’d follow suit with a lotion containing similar ingredients:
green tea extract, tucuma butter and essential oil of lemon myrtle. The smell of
lemon myrtle is less lemony than lemon, yet stands tall amid other more earthy ingredients.
Green tea is a powerful antioxidant and is especially useful when you have been
in publicly shared places such saunas, hot tubs, swimming pools, or in industrial
areas or work sites and other places from which your skin may absorb impurities.

is prominent in this lotion which emanates an appetizing chocolate aroma. Ylang
Ylang Hydrosol adds sensuality. The ingredients help explain why this is the most
popular lotion Nen’s makes. This thick lotion melts on contact with skin. Cocoa
butter has been used to reduce the formation of stretch marks because it works to
keep the skin supple. It contains natural antioxidants. Please don’t eat this lotion

Cucumber Moisturizing Lotion

We are so enamoured by the antiaging
properties of the cucumber, we had to make a lotion containing its peel and seed
extracts. We added no other essential oils, so that you can detect a subtle hint
of calming and refreshing cucumber scent. This lotion contains perilla seed oil,
which has been used to treat skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis. It is
rich in amino acids and vitamins, especially ALA (alpha-linoleic acid which is a
highly unsaturated Omega-2 fatty acid containing oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids
and an iodine number in the range of 185 to 208 - in other words, it rocks!). It
has both antiseptic and moisturizing properties.
